Traditionally, charcuterie was the term for a platter of cured meats served as an appetizer. Today, it has become an art form showcasing meats, cheeses, vegetables, fruits, and even sweets. Choosing accoutrements to compliment the main attractions can bring out the artist in you! Join us for a social evening learning the art and science of charcuterie. Just in time for the holidays, this workshop will help you prepare for small and large gatherings with confidence in your appetizer. Discuss tasty combinations and pairings, learn how to choose the right types of serving pieces, and ways to design beautiful displays. Observe (and sample) from two different boards. Enjoy a glass of wine or mulled cider to add to your Holiday merriment. Please bring a pen to take notes. (Ages 21+) Instructor: Susan Manch (Minimum 8/Maximum 20)
