Ms. Nikkel has been certified to teach the use of metal clay components in jewelry making for about 10 years. She has been crafting for the better part of her life starting with sewing, moving on to knitting which led her to design clothing for yarn companies, and then she began making Kumihimo and beaded jewelry. This led her to working with Precious Metal Clay and Base Metal Clay in order to come up with unusual toggles and clasps. She has found this to be a very forgiving medium that is fun to work with as well as beautiful.
Ms Nikkel is a Juried Mill Artist at the Waterford Fair.
