Wreath-Making With Native Plants

First you will learn about plants native to Virginia and their importance in establishing healthy habitats, conserving water and energy, and preserving soils in this class hosted by the Virginia Master Naturalists. Get tips and tricks on how to incorporate native plantings into your own home garden and which plants attract pollinators.Then you will learn how to make a holiday wreath featuring dried and preserved native plants.  Examples of invasive plants will be available.  Wreath bases, greenery and decorations will be provided along with twine and floral wire.

Please bring gardening gloves, clippers, scissors, and a glue gun if you have one. A few glue guns will be provided.
