The small market and low gathering baskets are perfect for the modern world but timeless in design — practical and beautiful. In this one-day class, you will will learn to lay out the base, weave the sides, attach the rims and handles, and then lash a small Shaker-inspired market basket made of reed and oak. Both baskets are made on the same mold, so you can select your preference in class. You may choose to add color to your basket or keep it natural. There will be a variety of dyed reeds available for embellishment. Share the experience with a child or grandchild!
