Description: The classic market basket is perfect for the modern world but timeless in design — practical and beautiful. In this one-day class, you will learn to lay out the base, weave the sides, attach the rims and handles, and then lash a classic Shaker-inspired market basket made of reed and oak. You may choose to add color to your basket or keep it natural. There will be a variety of dyed reeds available for embellishment.
