This Waterford Craft School “Mini Class” is especially for young artisans ages 8 years and older!
This 2-hour evening class is designed especially for youth ages 8 years and older. Children will create their own Swedish band bookmark in class. Parents are not required to attend with their child, but are welcome to stay and participate!
Instructor: Tony Daniel
About the Instructor: Mr Daniel has taught outdoor crafting for a number of years including at the Pathfinder School LLC in Ohio. He has also taught students of all ages in willow, tulip poplar bark and pine needle basketry, broom making, natural cordage, pottery and survival course including navigation, fire building and shelter construction. In 2018 he taught basketry to students representing 14 countries in Mora, Sweden. He has attended the Vavstuga Swedish weaving school in Massachusetts to hone his band weaving skills.

Tools: Materials fee of $10 provides everything you’ll need.
Description: In this 2-hour class, Mr. Daniel will teach students ages 8 years and older techniques for band weaving. Students will create their own bookmark in class! Parents are welcome to the class. Parents who want to create their own craft alongside their child need only pay a $10 materials fee. This class is taught on a child’s level.
