In this two-day class, students will focus on the repair and restoration of traditional putty glazed, window sashes typically found in houses built prior to 1940.

  • Repair and restoration of traditional sashes and putty glazes

  • Learn the “best practices” recommend by the Window Preservation Standards Collaborative and the Window Preservation Alliance

Class Length:  Two day

Date: Saturday, April 13: 9am — 5pm; Sunday, April 14: 9am — 3pm

No. of Students:  Minimum 3, Maximum 8

Tools:  Tools provided by instructor. There is no class fee.

Description:  Beginning with an overview of the components of a typical double-hung window, the class will follow the “best practices” recommend by the Window Preservation Standards Collaborative and the Window Preservation Alliance.
