The long shadows of afternoon light or the sparkling freshness of morning sun gives the painter a range of blues, violets, burnished golds and glowing greens that can be suggestive or poetic.

In this two-day class, students will learn about the basics of watercolor or colored pencils.

  • A brief introduction to the fluidity and freshness of watercolor.

  • Practice small studies as an approach to a larger painting.

  • Simple to complex — depending on experience.
