Container Planting with Native Plants

Students will learn how to arrange, plant and care for native flowers in a container garden.

  • Learn about native plants that can be incorporated into a container garden.

  • Create your own native plant container garden.

Instructor: Virginia Master Naturalists

Class Length:  Mini Class (2 hours)

Date: Thursday, May 23, 2019 6pm — 8pm

No. of Students:  Minimum: 3, Maximum: 10

Tools: Students should bring a container, a hand trowel, and garden gloves.

Description: Learn how to arrange, plant, and care for Virginia native plants in a container garden. Bring your own container and create your container garden with plants and materials provided by the Virginia Master Naturalists.
